Chapters of Life

Before I say anything else, I would like to apologize for not updating this blog as much as my other blog because of work but I’m not making any excuses at all, it’s just there are some things that we need to prioritize now that we are in a stage on which we have some responsibilities. This is why I call this latest post “Chapters of Life” because just two days ago we celebrated my baby daughter 1st birthday.

You Can’t Alway Get What You Want

This is a famous line from  the hit TV series House which stars Hugh Laurie as the misanthropic Dr. Gregory House. It also applies in real life that  that there are some things that we really want but in really not all things that we always want  we can always get (unless of course  if  your a  god or  have super powers its possible). 

Each one of us have priorities and responsibilities in life as we move along the straight line of time. Since  we can’t do a  “Ctrl-Z” in life, the only logical thing to do is to weigh our choices in life and hope that the choices we made would not compromise our life and the life of others that surrounds us.

Musical Inspirations

 It’s been always my attitude that any time that I need some relaxation or some kind of “inspirational drive” to do things, I always turn to listening to music. Particularly rock and metal music (specially progressive metal). 

Progressive rock (or Metal) has the most unique style of music because of the infusion of jazz and some unusual time signatures. That type music has a very “euphoric” effect in me specially the bands like Fates Warning, Queensryche and Dream Theater.
